March in general

We discovered the "lagoon" at Ko'olina, right next to the Disney Resort! So stunning out there. We watched a storm (rainstorm) go by out on the ocean.

Speaking of Disney, we went to the character breakfast out there. Amazing. The building, the staff, the FOOD. Mmmmmm

------------------------
Noah read his first "older" book, Wizard of Oz. After he finished it, we got the movie and watched it and compared the book to the movie. He retained a lot of it and ointed out all the differences. It was awesome doing that with him.

-----------------------
I'm not sure this is the fist time we went, but we learned about the "dog beach" out on the base next to us and went to check it out. It's amazing. Shallow waters, a view that never stops and you can watch all sorts of ships and planes going all over. I love it. Plus, dogs.

For St Patricks Day, we joined in on some cookie decorating and met some awesome kids and parents. That night Noah lost a tooth!!

The next day we participated in a squid dissection at the Living Art Marine Center

--------------------
A few days later we went back to the Bishop Museum to check out the dinosaur exibit. It was awesome, they had robotic dinosaurs that moved, rawred (we'll pretend that's what it's called) and the kids got to dress up. At the gift shop, Noah picked out two excavation bricks and Mason picked out a baby dinosaur as he calls it. Since getting it he sleeps with it, has tucked it into bed and pretended it's sleeping, and he has asked me to "wrap it like a baby" (swaddle) on a few occasions.

We went to the mall to see a butterfly exhibit as well with the homeschool group. The boys loved getting to see them all, but it got so hot in there. So when we went out to cool off, I snapped a few pictures and they wanted to act like butterflies too. After getting to see and feed them all, they made their own flapping butterflies after coloring them and then watched a video on the life cycle of a butterfly.
