Yesterday:
Yesterday was M Day. Moving Day. It was, well, hectic. The packers and movers were both there at the same time and there were horrible communication issues before it started. Thankfully, the three guys that came to pack were awesome.
We made sure to keep everyone happy with donuts, coffee and juice. They worked fast and hard. Packers got there a bit before 9 and were there until after 4. Movers got there about 1145 and left at 455. We bolted to the weight station and headed out with a goal of KC by bed time.
We pulled into the rest stop just past Lawrence for a quick dinner and Noah threw up all of his lunch. After cleaning, changing and settling down we ate a little and got back on the road. We made KC and stayed in the Country Inn & Suites by Legends.
Today:
We got up and had a good breakfast and got packed and dressed for the road. After reorganizing and figuring out a specific end point we headed out.
We stopped off about 10am to stretch and use the bathroom, 1130 to get Noah ready for "relaxation" (nap) time and he slept for a good 45 minutes! Sadly though, right about lunch time he started throwing up again. We went through two outfits, countless wipes, two McDonalds towels and tons of tears. He threw up about 5 times in less than an hour and he was miserable. Once he calmed down some and went a good time without throwing up we decided to head straight for the hotel to give him a break tonight.
He did throw up one more time a little later at an Arbys, but [fingers crossed] it's been ok since then.
Tomorrow will be the tester.
We're shooting to get just past Columbus Ohio. Not sure if it'll happen, but it's the goal.
