Happy new week

Not so much, it's hot. Really hot. Today is expected to hit 94, as well as tomorrow. Not to mention it's beyond muggy.

We're expecting storms on Wednesday, hopefully they hit west of us as well. A large chunk of West KS is a disaster area because of severe droughts.

It also stormed some last Thursday when Noah and I went out to Lawrence. If you know me, you know I had to take pictures. Haha.

The first picture is the front before it came to Topeka. By the time we got to Lawrence, the sky was a beautiful half blue and half grey with the storm coming. We got out just in time because as we got to the highway, the floods opened. There was thunder, lightning and maybe 15ft visibility. We were going 30 on the two lane highway and I couldn't see the front of the car in front of me. It was scary for a bit.

By the time we got to Topeka, the sky was blue again and the rain was long gone. The puddles were still there though, and that meant splash time!
